轉知交通部公路局臺中區監理所函文：有關115年度汽機車「汽車燃料使用費」已經正式更名為「公路使用養護安全管理費」。Subject: Notification from the Taichung City Motor Vehicles Office, Highway Bureau, MOTC: The “Fuel Use Fee for Motor Vehicle” for the year 2026 (115th year of the ROC) has been officially renamed as the “Highway Usage, Maintenance, and Safety Management Charges.”

公路法第27條「汽車燃料使用費」名稱業經總統114年12月19日華總一字第11400129991號令公布修正為「公路使用養護安全管理費」，本次更名僅為名稱調整，清楚呈現此費用徵收目的為專款專用於公路養護、道路修建及行車安全管理等，以提升道路品質與行車安全；更名後該費用每年繳費期間、繳納方式及繳費金額均維持不變。開徵金額、徵收區間及繳費方式皆維持不變，徵收期間仍為每年7月1日至7月31日。
Amendment of the Highway Act (Article 27): Renaming of “Fuel Use Fee” to “Highway Usage, Maintenance, and Safety Management Charges”
According to Presidential Decree No. 11400129991 dated December 19, 2025, the “Fuel Use Fee for Motor Vehicle” as stipulated in Article 27 of the Highway Act has been officially renamed the “Highway Usage, Maintenance, and Safety Management Charges.”
This revision is a formal name change intended to clearly reflect the designated purpose of the fee—specifically for highway maintenance, road construction, and traffic safety management—to enhance road quality and driving safety. Following the name change, the annual payment period, payment methods, and fee amounts will remain unchanged. The collection period remains from July 1st to July 31st each year.
