Recently, fraud syndicates have been posing as organizers of “Free Baishatun Mazu Blessed Gift” giveaways. They send fake 7-11 MyShip (賣貨便) links via private messages, tricking citizens into clicking and paying for “postage.”
The scammers then claim that your “real-name authentication is incomplete” and instruct you to add a specific LINE account, where they proceed to solicit personal and financial information.
🚨 Common Scam Tactics:
• 🔸 Requesting bank account numbers, passwords, or OTP (One-Time Password) verification codes.
• 🔸 Demanding payments labeled as “binding fees,” “activation fees,” or “verification fees.”
• 🔸 Once these steps are followed, funds are immediately stolen and transferred from your account!
📢 Important Reminders:
• ❌ DO NOT click on unknown links.
• ❌ DO NOT provide personal identification or financial information.
• ❌ DO NOT follow instructions to operate an ATM or online banking app.
