快樂連假即將來臨,出門快樂遊玩時也要將自身安全放在心上,所以懇請各位同學注意:
The happy long weekend is approaching. While enjoying your trip, please remember to keep your safety in mind. Therefore, we kindly request all students
to pay attention to the following:
◆Wear a safety helmet properly: Choose a qualified safety helmet, ensure the size is appropriate, and fasten the buckle securely. ◆Before starting, check your surroundings: look in your rearview mirror and be aware of oncoming vehicles, pedestrians, and other motor vehicles. ◆Adhere to speed limits: Avoid speeding, racing, and sudden acceleration. Reduce speed even more in rainy weather. ◆Maintain a safe distance: Keep a sufficient braking distance from the vehicle in front to avoid a rear-end collision during emergency braking. ◆Signal your turn in advance: Avoid sudden lane changes or impromptu turns. ◆Slow down at intersections: "Slow down, look around, stop": When approaching an intersection, slow down first, check the traffic conditions, and stop to confirm if necessary. ◆Beware of blind spots caused by large vehicles: Do not ride on the sides or near the front of buses, trucks, or articulated vehicles for extended periods, and especially avoid turning alongside large vehicles. ◆Avoid weaving through traffic: weaving arbitrarily in traffic jams can easily lead to collisions and also put you in the blind spots of other vehicles. ◆Yield to pedestrians: Slow down when passing pedestrian crossings and stop to let pedestrians pass ◆Pay attention to road conditions: road markings, metal covers, gravel, and water accumulation can make the road slippery in rainy weather, so avoid sudden braking or sharp turns. ◆Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or while fatigued. Do not ride a bicycle if you are not alert or are taking medications that may affect your reaction time. ◆Don't use your phone while riding a bike: Navigation should be set up first, and you should stop safely before using your phone if you need to operate it. ◆In the event of an accident, do not leave immediately: First, ensure the safety of the scene, assist the injured, call the police and report to the Campus Safety Center (04-26338000), and take photos to preserve information about the accident scene and vehicle damage.
