1. Preventing thefts on campus is everyone’s responsibility.
2. Department offices should strengthen access control and immediately notify the campus security center if they find anyone behaving suspiciously.
3. When leaving the office, please take your personal valuables with you and lock the doors and windows to prevent bad people from entering and committing crimes.
4. To prevent theft, please take your keys and valuables with you before parking your car or motorcycle and make sure the windows and doors are locked before leaving.
5. The keys to each office, computer room, laboratory, research room and dormitory room should be controlled and managed by a dedicated person or individual. If lost, please replace the door lock immediately to ensure access security.
6. Carry personal valuables and money with you, keep them safe, and develop a good habit of not leaving money around.
7. Grasping the principle of “don’t show your money and don’t leave your property” is the only way to prevent money from being stolen.
8. For the guidelines on handling theft on campus, please refer to the website of the Office of Student Affairs, School Security and Military Training Office – School Security Center – Guidelines on Handling Theft on Campus.
9. If a theft occurs, please immediately notify the school security center for assistance.
